Week 42: Making progress ...

.This week we had good time to work with the project and had a nice progress. We got a clearer image from Christiane on what's important to bring into our presentation. We found more about what Bergen has as a goal for buildings. We tried to find some plans and projects that is relevant for the project with some success. We found out that it was important to bring economy, districts and age into the picture.
We also made a political goal (which we might change later) which is: In 20 years every house in Bergen have the environmental standard that is required in new houses. And other things we did:
Asbjørn: Political goal, put together the texts in German about us.
Martin: Political parties opinions, found concrete examples on building projects.
Magnus: Created a powerpoint, helped me with the log, found pictures.
Hans Jørgen: Wrote blog and log, found pictures, looked for information and contact information on important persons, took notes on what Christiane said was important in our project.

Here is two of the links we have looked on this week (i am sorry, they are in Norwegian): http://www.aftenposten.no/bolig/Dette-huset-trenger-ingen-ovner-6996977.html

What we did in our science class 28. september 2012

A couple of weeks ago we got the whole day to work on our project. We could spend this classes to what we wanted to do, related to the project of course. We thought that in this early stages it was smart to look on the internet for information, and make it more clear what we want to learn and talk about in this project.
What each induvidual did:
Asbjørn: Found an example on how a guy from Bergen made his house environmental friendly, and we found out how to get in touch with him, and maybe interview him.
Hans Jørgen: Found out more about environmental friendly politics and groups. Especially their meanings about houses and buildings.
Martin: Planning and investment of new environmental friendly gadgets that is a good substitute for the old ones.
Magnus: Generally about our problem "What can we do to make houses and buildings more environmental friendly?"

Blog Homework: Basic Information

We choose the topic: Houses and Buildings. We will probably look on examples in Bergen and Hamburg, on how we can make houses and buildings more environmental friendly. Another thing we want to look on is how towns and cities expand, and how this effects our environment. We will also look at some concrete building examples, good solutions and politics.
Our problem/setting in this theme will probably be: How can we make our houses more environmental friendly, and/or how can we live in a way that's good for the environment.
That's basically what we're wondering about, and probably what we wanted to learn about during this project.
When we come to the sources and web pages we have used, this are the ones we have found for now:
(Note: Most of the sources we have used are in norwegian, but we will probably use some in english too.)

Day 1: The Start of a New Era

We selected our group leader, Asbjørn, our Powerpoint-guy Magnus, our secretary Martin and our blog and log person Hans Jørgen. Then we selected our subject which was "Buildings and Apartments" (Theme 1.) Then we made our blog and wrote down som keywords and gathered information about the topic. We also created a group on Facebook and a group on Itslearning.
 More to come ...
Thanks for reading!

Our first post!

(With help from Google Translate)
This is our first post in our new blog! This blog is a school project, but this post will be the best ever. Here is the most epic This is our first post in our new blog! This blog is a school project,.

From left: Martin, Asbjørn (top), Hans Jorgen (bottom) and Magnus
The project is called Green Living and it is an environmental project that will last over 2 years. We will be traveling to Hamburg next year and work with on this project. This blog is intended for the German students so they can see what we are doing.
Asbjørn
Asbjøn is a cute and single guy from Bergen, and he is always trying to get the hot girls. He plays football for Baune and is an active guy. (Call him if you're interested)
Magnus
Magnus is the group's clever head, he is quite extreme if he said so himself. He is an active orientation boy and likes to stay in shape. He is also the group least concentrated member.
Martin
Martin is a masculine guy from Varaldsøy, and likes sheep. He is the only farmer in the group and and the only one who understand Norways second language, nynorsk. He caught an adult deer with his hands when he was 10 years old.
Hans Jørgen
Hans Jørgen is the "little bastard" of the group. By this we mean that he is a jolly fellow with a good attitude and good humor. He grew up in Bergen hardest ghetto, namely the district Åsane. The first thing you think when you see Hans Jørgen would like to be "Lars Vaular" (Norwegian rapper from Bergen) but behind this rock face live a shy little boy who is waiting for the world to be kind.
See you soon!
P.S Take this with a pinch of irony
